Alinea is a participant of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), committing to supporting a range of sustainable and socially responsible policies. Launched in 2000 by the United Nations, the UNGC is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative with more than 13,000 corporate participants and stakeholders from over 160 countries.

As a member of the Compact, Alinea is committed to aligning our operations and strategies to support the 10 principles of the UNGC with respect to human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In turn, UNGC membership grants access to a range of international resources, best practices and emerging solutions to address global sustainability challenges.

The Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact are derived from: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
