Today one of the most urgent needs in Ukraine remains the unavailability or limited access to medical services, which is primarily due to the lack of necessary medicines and medical equipment, destroyed health care facilities, and active hostilities that continue on the territory of Ukraine, in particular in the East of the country.

That is why international organizations and the community began to unite to provide medical support to all residents of Ukraine affected by the war.

Thus, the SURGe project team, in partnership with Canada-Ukraine Foundation and AFYA Foundation, continues to provide essential medical assistance, vital medical equipment, and materials to war-affected health facilities in East Ukraine.

In particular, we delivered a mobile X-ray machine, patient monitors with a module, electrosurgical generators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, patient lifts, first aid kits, blankets, and other highly needed medical materials to the hospitals of the most war-affected regions of Ukraine.
