About the work
Alinea International is looking for a part-time (0.6 – 0.8 FTE) Operations and Administrative Support Officer to work alongside our Operations Team in supporting our company’s continuous growth. This role will be based in Alinea International’s Head Office in Melbourne. The Support Officer will work in contract management, as well as provide general administrative assistance to Alinea International’s offices and staff.
The Role
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Contract management, including invoicing, procurement, and budget monitoring
- Conducting due diligence according to our policies
- Liaising with client contacts on deliverables and requirements
- Supporting sub-contracting and managing sub-contract compliance
Administration and Office Management:
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of staff
- Maintaining and purchasing general office supplies in accordance with procurement policy
- Maintaining office spaces in line with workplace health and safety protocols
- Keeping documents and filing systems up to date
- Coordinate cross-team communications, intranet content upkeep, and staff engagement initiatives.
- Diary management
- Training and event planning, and coordination
- Other Administrative duties as required
SELECTION CRITERIA
Required Qualifications:
- Exceptional organisational skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or experience in a similar role
- Intermediate computer skills and substantial experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience, and accuracy, with data entry
- Experience supporting administrative processes
Desirable:
- Experience working with ERP systems, relational databases, or other data management tools
Experience working in international development or servicing Government departments
