Representatives from Pasifika WE Guardians and EmpowerHER, two Pacific‑led initiatives funded by Global Affairs Canada and implemented by Alinea International, participated in the Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026),  in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia, from 27–30 April 2026.

WD2026 marks a historic milestone as the first Women Deliver Conference to be regionally hosted, centric the Oceanic Pacific. More than a global convening, WD2026 is a rallying point for feminist solidarity, resistance, and reimagination; shifting power to the leadership, knowledge, and lived experience of feminists, youth, and First Nations leaders across the region.

Women Deliver works to ensure that every girl and woman has full control over her body and life, with a focus on adolescent girls, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), climate justice, and human rights.

Pasifika WE Guardians amplifies Pacific women’s leadership in strengthening climate resilience of women‑led, nature‑based businesses, particularly those owned by Indigenous women in rural communities across Fiji, Samoa, and Tuvalu, which are on the frontlines of climate change.

EmpowerHER shares regional perspectives on advancing gender equality, human rights, and freedom from sexual and gender‑based violence (SGBV) for women and girls in Kiribati, Solomon Islands, and Tonga.

Participation in WD2026 places Pacific women’s voices is at the heart of global strategies for climate justice, gender equality, and human rights.
