At the end of May and beginning of June, the SURGe project provided methodological support to working groups of the National Council for the Recovery of Ukraine “Social Protection” and “Protection of Children’s Rights” in developing proposals for the Plan of the Recovery of Ukraine from the war for the period up to 2032.

The Project Strategic Planning Experts of the 1300 initiative helped the participants define clear outcomes, specific outputs, and performance indicators for each group using the principles and approaches of results-based management.

A results-based management (RBM) methodology is an approach to planning and management that directs all actions and resources to achieve clearly defined and visible results. RBM increases transparency and accountability, allows to make adjustments and adapt to change, and simultaneously avoids duplication and waste of time.
