Alinea requires all employees and sub-contractors to observe high standards of business and personal ethics in the conduct of their duties and responsibilities. All employees and sub-contractors of Alinea are required to comply with our Code of Conduct and the applicable laws and regulations of Canada and the countries where we operate. Any allegations of known or suspected improper conduct or mismanagement of organizational resources will be dealt with in accordance with our Whistleblower Policy, and reasonable steps will be taken to protect those who come forward with allegations.
Our Whistleblower Hotline facilitates the reporting of any illegal, unethical, or improper conduct in a safe, anonymous manner. It is available to be used by anyone, however; abuse of the hotline via fraudulent, malicious, or bad-faith complaints against employees will not be tolerated.

For DFID contracts, the Internal Audit Department’s Counter Fraud Section is the central point for raising concerns, suspicions and/or allegations of fraud, sexual exploitation and abuse or other corrupt practices. This includes both internal and external cases where DFID funds, assets or interests (including DFID’s reputation) are involved, as well as any breach of the Civil Service Code.
